These three jurisdictions represent broad diversity in policy landscapes, government and sector structures and relationships, operational and geographic contexts. Combined, these jurisdictions broadly reflect the sector's diversity across the country and we hope that if the approaches we develop and test are relevant here, they might be relevant within other jurisdictions.

Collectively, the program's six partners represent more than 100 organisations providing domestic and family violence services to victim survivors, which employ more than 1200 specialist practitioners and support thousands of adults and children each year. In addition to the governing partnership, Safety Measures is establishing a sector advisory group, made up of people working in these services, who will help inform our approaches to research, consultation and engagement with the sector more broadly across the three jurisdictions.

While the program is led by the DFV sector and much of our work will focus on the DFV service setting, we are interested in learning as much as we can about people's support needs and where they are and aren't being met. This may include looking at available data from other parts of the service system alongside DFV service data, to help identify system barriers and gaps.
